About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager – Reports to lead the development of a robust, configurable, and scalable reporting framework across all Falcon products. This includes regulatory reports, credit bureau reports, partner-facing reports for banks and FIs, and business operations reports.
You will be responsible for ensuring that Falcon’s reporting layer is not just powerful, but also self-serve, reusable, and configurable across customers—so that new banks and FIs can go live without the need for custom development. You’ll work closely with engineering, data, compliance, finance, and partner success teams to drive a platform-first approach to reporting.
What You’ll Do
Own the Reporting Product Strategy:
Define and execute the roadmap for Falcon’s reports across all modules and product lines.
Design for Configurability & Reusability:
Build a modular reporting framework that allows customers to configure filters, formats, schedules, and delivery channels — all without requiring custom code or development for new partners.
Deliver High-Impact Reports:
Launch critical reports including regulatory (e.g., RBI), credit bureau (e.g., CIBIL, Experian), customer/partner SLAs, and internal ops/business reports.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with engineering, data, compliance, operations, and customer teams to define specs and deliver accurate, timely, and compliant reporting solutions.
Build for Scale:
Ensure reports work across varied customers (banks, NBFCs, other financial institutions, and fintechs) and geographies with minimal friction or manual intervention.
Drive Data Quality and Governance:
Ensure definitions are consistent, data is reliable, and reports are audit-ready and compliant with regulations.
Evangelize Reporting as a Product:
Help internal and external users discover, interpret, and rely on reporting for decision-making, compliance, and partner trust.
What We’re Looking For
4–8 years of product management experience in fintech, SaaS, or data-intensive platforms
Strong experience in reporting, data platforms, or BI products
Familiarity with regulatory, bureau, and financial reporting requirements
Proven ability to build configurable systems used by multiple customer types
Good understanding of data concepts: ETL, data models, SQL, filters, pivots, data integrity
Exceptional collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
Analytical thinker with attention to detail and structured problem-solving abilities
Bonus if You Have
Exposure to reporting requirements in the Indian BFSI ecosystem
Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and BI tools like Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and privacy regulations (DPDP, GDPR, etc.)
Experience building platforms that scale across customers with minimal engineering effort
